Spanish splendour abounds as we discover the royal heritage of Madrid, the fiery passion of Sevilla, and the architectural masterpieces of Barcelona. Savour the tantalizing aromas of tapas while wandering majestic, old-world avenues to a flamenco soundscape. Explore soaring cathedrals and bustling markets in the heart of Spain, then uncork the rich history of Toledo’s wineries before sampling the region’s finest extra virgin olive oil in Córdoba. Indulge in thriving arts and culture scenes, authentic Andalusian cuisine, and nightlife that redefines the meaning of fiesta.
Bienvenidos a España! After a private transfer to the hotel, we’ll begin with a Group Meeting followed by a Welcome Dinner at a renowned and historic restaurant.
Buenos dias! Today is about experiencing the vivid tapestry of Spanish culture and we begin with a private, panoramic city tour. Visit the Puerta de la Alcalá, the Cibeles Fountain, the Gran Vía, as well as markets and squares such as Plaza de la Villa and Plaza Sol. We’ll tour some of Madrid’s most influential neighbourhoods including the lively “gaybourhood” of Chueca, then discover the history of the Habsburgs and the Bourbons on a visit to the Royal Palace. Enjoy some free time for lunch and maybe a siesta. This evening, we’ll enjoy traditional tapas at Mercado de la Reina, an elegant restaurant that puts a modern twist on old-world cuisine.
Today begins with a 1-hour private transfer to Spain’s former capital Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing a wealth of architecture from its centuries of history. We’ll see inside the Toledo Cathedral, a 13th-century high gothic marvel. After a city tour and lunch, we’ll be whisked to Cigarral de Santa María for a private tour of the vineyard followed by a sampling on the terrace of the winery. Tonight we head back to Madrid where we’re free to enjoy dinner at leisure or join the group for an optional dinner.
After breakfast, we’ll transfer to the train station to catch our high-speed train to Sevilla. The 3-hour ride boasts sweeping views as the train whizzes through the picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, we’ll get settled at the hotel and have time to relax. This evening, turn up the heat at Tablao Flamenco El Arenal with a magical flamenco performance paired with traditional Andalusian haute cuisine – muy caliente!
Rise and shine! After breakfast, we’re off to soak in everything Sevilla has to offer. Begin in the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the artistic centre known for its labyrinthian streets and white-washed walls. We’ll tour the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral of Seville, the largest Christian Gothic cathedral in the world, before we step into the serene oasis of the Patio de los Naranjos, preserved in its original state. After lunch, we can board an optional Guadalquivir River Cruise through the city, or have some free time to explore on our own. Tonight, we dine at a unique restaurant that serves upscale avant-garde fare with an Andalusian twist.
We begin today with a 2-hour transfer to Córdoba, a bastion of Moorish architecture that’s home to the adorable Calleja de las Flores (Flower Street). Explore the Jewish Quarter, then tour La Mezquita, the impressive Mosque-Cathedral that contains 856 colourful columns made from marble, onyx, jasper and granite. After lunch, we’ll have some free time to explore the city at our own pace. Córdoba is known as Spain’s olive oil capital, and later we’ll reconvene for a guided olive oil tasting – olé! After a full day of exploring we head back to Sevilla where the evening is free to enjoy one last night in this romantic city.
This morning, we’ll transfer to the airport for a short flight to Barcelona. Upon arrival, we’ll check in to the hotel and have some free time to explore this trendy city and relax in leisure. Later in the evening we’ll regroup for an included dinner closer to the hotel. Afterward we’ll have the option to paint the town red (a colour that attracts bulls) and indulge in Barcelona’s famed nightlife!

Fuel up because today is all about taking in the highlights of this gorgeous Catalan city. We’ll be guided through Monjuic, Via Laietana, Passeig de Gràcia, and Plaça Catalunya before we arrive at the cynosure of the city, Sagrada Familia. Work has been underway for more than 130 years on this massive monument designed by architect Antoni Gaudi with its construction expected to finish by 2026. Lunch will be included in today’s city tour then tonight, we’ll gather for our Farewell Dinner and perhaps take one last dip into this bustling city’s gay nightlife.
