Bok! Welcome to the beautiful city of Split. Check-in to our centrally located 4-star hotel where we’ll spend one night, then meet your fellow adventurers at 6 PM for a group meeting before we break bread at an included welcome dinner within walking distance from the hotel.
Check out of the hotel this morning, then join us on a late morning walking tour of the old town including Diocletianโs Palace. Weโll then point out our luxurious yachtโthe Rhapsodyโbefore giving you free time for lunch. Weโll board our yacht and set sail early this afternoon for the island of Braฤ, and if conditions allow weโll swim at Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn beach). Weโll then continue to our first overnight stop, the small village of Bol where weโll enjoy a welcome cocktail and dinner onboard.
After breakfast, we depart Bol for Hvar. En route weโll enjoy morning and afternoon swim stops and an included lunch. On arrival at Hvar weโll head out for a guided tour followed by a free evening to explore. An optional dinner will be available.
An early departure brings us to the quaint island of Biลกevo, where an optional visit to the Blue Caves awaitsโproviding the winds are in our favour. Our cruise then continues to the island of Vis, an isolated former Yugoslav naval base that captures the Mediterranean โas it once wasโ. Here, you can either pay to visit the remains of the Roman thermal baths, hit up the city museum or simply take in the free views of the beautiful rustic village on the waterfront. We overnight in the port and this evening you are free to explore this charming island and dine at one of the many local restaurants.
After a leisurely morning swim stop we arrive in the tiny village of Brna, located on the southern coast of Korฤula island. Here, weโll head to a modern local winery that includes a tour of the grounds and cellar, followed by a delicious local lunch paired with five pristine Croatian wines. Tonight we have dinner on the ship, and we overnight in this quaint and charming town.
This morning we head east for the town of Korฤulaโthe birthplace of Marco Poloโand a favourite stop amongst Out Adventurers. Weโll have a swim stop and lunch along the way, and upon arrival weโll enjoy a late afternoon walking tour. Since itโs only a short distance to the yacht from anywhere in the old town, we encourage you to explore the area and its charming shops, bars and restaurants. This evening features an optional dinner at one of the most famous restaurants in town.
Today we depart early, cruising to the island of Mljet after we have a morning swim stop. Once in Mljet, weโll join our local guide for a stroll through the famous salt lakes of Mljet National Park. This visit includes a boat ride to St Mary Isle to visit an ancient monastery, an old abbey, and a church that dates back to the 12th century. If youโd like to get the blood flowing, you can also rent a kayak, bike or scooter to roam the park on your own. Weโll enjoy our Captainโs Dinner aboard the boat in a quiet bay.
This morning we depart early for the world-famous Dubrovnik, cruising past the old city walls while enjoying lunch onboard the yacht. Weโll dock in the new port given the large size of our vessel, then transfer into town for a guided walking tour. This will be followed by a cable car ride up Srฤ Mountain where weโll soak up the scenic views of the Old City Walls and Elaphiti Islands. Youโll have some free time in town to wander before we meet at a central location for our gourmet Farewell Dinner.
This morning we bid farewell to our faithful crew, and each other, as our adventure comes to an end. There are no activities planned, and we must disembark by 9AM. There will be a luggage storage option available for those with afternoon or evening flights, and we have a host hotel for those wishing to spend more time in this ancient city. As the Croatians sayโDoviฤenja, or goodbye!
This was my first time traveling as part of an organized, large group and it exceeded my expectations. Croatia is an incredibly beautiful country, especially once you reach the Adriatic (Dalmatian) Coast. Arid mountains, clear azure waters, big sky, sheltered coves and historic towns and villages. The landscape, the architecture, the history and the people, all wonderful. The pure joy of that experience, including the endless laughter shared among old friends and new, I will cherish forever. Kudos to Rob, Out Adventures and our Croatian expert guide Livio. They were truly committed to ensuring that each and every person had the very best experience possible. Traveling by sea is most definitely the way to see Croatia. And I look forward to my next trip with Out Adventures.
What a great way to see you Croatia, meet new friends and all done with style & class!! It was one of my most memorable vacations ever. My favorite part of the trip; waking up each morning to an up front and close view of the Croatian coast line. The small towns/ villages, the mountains and the crystal clear Adriatic were simply amazing; every morning was more spectacular than the last. The city tours in the afternoons were always well organized and full of local history facts. A very big thanks to Out Adventures for organizing this truly awesome trip!! Great memories and met some really awesome guys. I can’t wait for my next Out Adventure!!
I INSIST that you go on the next gay Croatia trip with Out Adventures! It combines the best parts of a private chartered cruise and a large cruise ship experience. Don’t be afraid!
This was hands down the best run, most relaxed and restorative holiday I’ve ever taken. At no time did I ever feel like I wasn’t being looked after or needed to worry about anything. Truly exceptionally well planned and executed
Croatia is a beautiful and vibrant country that has stoically overcome war and adapted quite well to a massive influx of tourists. The food was amazing. Every meal used fresh produce that was locally sourced and organic. My favorite meals were peppered with fresh herbs and Istrian truffles. Each new port city I visited had its own unique energy, and walking the narrow streets of these cities was both haunting and fascinating. I really enjoyed my free time swimming off the yacht, taking in the beauty of the Croatian coastline, and tasting the local cuisine. However, what made this gay Croatia cruise even more memorable was all of the new friendships I made along the way.
Greatest time EVER!! Love everything about the gay Croatia cruise, especially the time aboard the yacht and swimming daily in the Adriatic Sea. Heaven!!
It was one of the best trips I have ever had. I made lifelong friends who I will keep up with and reminisce about our beautiful yacht and our wonderful adventures in Croatia.
The Croatia trip is the most relaxing and refreshing of the Out itineraries. It’s a beautiful get-away for taking in the sun, the sea, and just a little bit of history and culture – all with 20+ of your new friends.
A well-paced, well-run, friendly, and relaxing trip with good food, great wine, and a few interesting cultural visits.
Terrific service, great value, and a great alternative to large cruise ships.
It is so much fun, and at our age, I love when a trip company can take care of all the details, and we just show up and have fun. You can be as active as you want or relaxed as you want
A well-designed trip. We were well looked after by a very friendly and accommodating crew. And swimming off the boat was a great experience.
Great company to travel with. Everything was taken care of for us from arrival to the airport, taxi transport to hotel and then return taxi to the airport. Nice small group atmosphere.
I felt accepted by and happy with the group, the members of which varies in age. What can be nicer than travelling with family?!
Magical trip. Croatia may not be first world yet, but the natural beauty makes up for any minor inconveniences.
All just wonderful: the ship; the crew; the destination; the group leader Livio; the Out Adventures trip leader; the food; our suite #7.
The Croatian coast is incredible for both natural beauty and man-made history. Combine that with a wonderful luxury yacht, terrific hosts/guides, and 20+ wonderful new friends, and you get the ultimate vacation. OUT Adventures thought of everything and took away all the stress. We had another great vacation with OUT!
Wonderful trip, great itinerary, beautiful country. This is the best way to see Dalmatia. I loved the boat, the food on board, the friendly staff, all the swim stops and the ports. Scott, the tour host, was awesome and always available. Livio, the local tour guide, was beyond excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly.
Out Adventures enabled us to visit a long-awaited destination in a very special way with our LGBT+ community members. We experienced quite possibly the best vacation we ever had. From the accommodations to the food and service, surprises along the way, and choice of ports, we could not have asked for a better experience.
For our 2024 Croatia gay cruise, we’ve reserved the beautiful Rhapsody. This deluxe private yacht features private balconies on all Upper Deck cabins.
