Bienvenidos! To put a flourish on our new Spain: Madrid, Sevilla & Barcelona tour, we’ve handpicked these spectacular stays, perfect for any siesta. Check out our Spain gay-welcoming hotels youโ€™ll be checking into!

NH Collection Madrid Gran Vรญa, Madrid [2025 Departure]

Poised right on Gran Vรญa, one of Madridโ€™s central thoroughfares, our first stay is the ultimate blend of glamour, comfort, and unbeatable location! Designed by the brilliant architects Julio Martรญnez Zapata and Josรฉ Lรณpez Sallaberry, this Neo-Baroque wonder opened its doors in 1918 and has been turning heads ever since.

Upon settling in, we encourage you to head upstairs to take in the views from the Sky Garden, a rooftop lounge complemented by one of the hotel’s two bars. This is hands down the perfect spot for enjoying a morning coffee, catching up on your reading, or relaxing after a full day of exploring the city.

Another stylish bar awaits in the lobby! The hotel’s exterior might be stately and classically designed, but the interior is hip and modern, as shown by this upscale perch where you can mix and mingle with fellow guests over a refreshing libation.

Each room is decked out with plush bedding, top-notch tech like flat-screen TVs and high-speed Wi-Fi, plus all the little touches that make you feel pampered. Open up the exterior doors and let the energetic vibe of the city float right in, or close the curtains for a disco nap (which might be necessary considering how late Spaniards are known to have dinner and/or head out on the town).

Avani Alonso Martinez, Madrid [2026 Departure]

This property, dating back to 1919 and named after the nearby Alonso Martรญnez Square, features characteristic wrought iron balconies on a century-old facade. Think โ€œheritage-swankyโ€ with a flamenco vibe.

Step inside for a more contemporary interior design, with an array of neon signs displayed on the walls of the chic lobby.

The pristine guestrooms are furnished with local art, hardwood floors, and a view of the surrounding city. The marbled design of the ensuites is particularly impressive. They didnโ€™t have ensuites like this a century ago!

H10 Palacio Colomera, Cรณrdoba

Upon arrival at this handsome property, weโ€™ll be greeted by the old-world elegance of its facade, which gazes over the playful fountains of Plaza de las Tendillas.

But as we learned in Madrid, you canโ€™t judge a Spanish hotel by its cover! The lobby flips the script into a classical vibe, with Romanesque columns and archways that exude a stately feel.

The guestrooms are top-notch and feature muted tones with a modern design. The ensuites, however, are surprisingly spacious and adorably equipped. Even the window is oversized! Luckily, there are floor-to-ceiling privacy curtains.

Need some downtime? The courtyard pool is a perfect spot to go for a shady dip. Might as well order a libation while youโ€™re at it!

Donโ€™t forget to check out the cozy rooftop terrace, which boasts a perch above the action and a view of the surrounding buildings.

H10 Casa de la Plata, Sevilla

Newly built and located on a pedestrian street in the heart of Sevilla, this captivating property is the perfect base from which to explore the city.

The lobby has a kitschy vibe, as a kaleidoscope of colors and styles effectively creates an exciting and inviting atmosphere. And in honor of the hotelโ€™s name, guests will be greeted by a wall of plates (platas) on display behind the front desk.

The central courtyard is both breezy and whimsical. Hint: The art-deco flair combined with the soft lighting makes it a fantastic spot for your next social media-winning selfie. Or if you’re feeling peckish, grab a spot at the restaurant.

Each guestroom was designed with spaciousness, silence, comfort and elegance in mind. Pull the curtains shut for a nap at any point, or leave them open to allow the Sevillian ambience to seep in.

Be sure to spend some time on the rooftop terrace, which features a bar and an L-shaped pool with an underwater viewing window.

Hospes Palacio de los Patos, Granada [2025 Departure]

This 19th-century palace is located only steps from the iconic Granada Cathedral and combines the charm of a UNESCO-protected building with modern flair, offering a truly unforgettable stay. Picture yourself strolling through lush gardens adorned with Arabian-style fountainsโ€”it’s like stepping into a storybook!

The lobby is a sight to behold! Stately and lavish from just about any angle, the grandeur of the interior is both historic and inviting. They definitely don’t make them like this anymore!

When you’re ready to unwind, head to the hotelโ€™s tranquil spa, where you can relax in the sauna, Turkish bath, or soothing whirlpool. Need some extra pampering? Treat yourself to a rejuvenating massage or a beauty treatment tailored just for you. This is a 5-star property, after all.

The guestrooms are the perfect blend of elegance and contemporary design, while still honoring the history of this magnificent property. Kick back with flat-screen satellite TV, a fully stocked minibar, and a safe for your valuables. Plus, enjoy the extra indulgence of plush bathrobes and slippers in your private bathroom.

Meliรก Granada, Granada [2026 Departure]

For our stay in this gallant city, weโ€™ve chosen a prime spot steps from the cathedral and the Alcaicerรญa. Its narrow avenue and concrete archways create a quintessentially European feel, and its rooftop terrace offers incredible views.

For this stay, we’ll be in Premium guestrooms, which are comfy and well-equipped with hardwood furnishings and an ensuite that features a rain shower.

If your stomach starts to create its own music, head down to the restaurant, Ola 1971, which elevates traditional Spanish seafood beyond the ordinary. (Sidenote: Spanish culture characteristically has a much later dinner time, typically between 9pm and 11pm.)

H10 Casanova, Barcelona

For our final stay, weโ€™ve pulled out all the stops! The H10 Casanovaโ€™s prime placement, unmatched amenities, and seductive rooftop pool will likely lead to thoughts of extending the stay another few days (or months).

The charming lobby is a fusion of modernity with retro-elegance. Thirsty? The boutique bar is easily found and a fantastic place to sip Sangria, the national drink of Spain.

Once youโ€™re settled, head on up to the rooftop terrace and plunge pool for views that canโ€™t be beat. At night, we may even hear the echoes of flamenco music from the streets below.

The hotelโ€™s distinct style accompanies us into our rooms. Clean lines, hardwood floors, and neutral tones with a splash of color will greet us after a long day exploring everything this world-class city has to offer.

The cherry on top is the amenities! There’s a workout room with gym equipment and a stellar view, as well as a rejuvenating day spa (appointments must be booked in advance).
