Welcome to Jordan! For our 5-day Petra & The Dead Sea Extension, weโve selected several stays that are dripping with style, including an uber-unique desert experience in Wadi Rum. Read on to find out more about these charming and gay-welcoming hotels!
Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa, Dead Sea
Perched on the eastern shore of the Dead Sea, our first stay is high class but low in elevation at 1,414 feet (431 meters) below sea level.
This 5-star beachfront resort boasts epic Dead Sea views along with one of the countryโs most rejuvenating spas, which features its own saltwater pool. Indulge in one of their signature treatments, like an exfoliating body scrub or mud wrap made with Dead Sea minerals.
Alternatively, the Dead Sea is merely steps away. Its black mud, famed for having high concentrations of skin-nourishing minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium, bromide, zinc, and iron, is easily applied during a salubrious float. (Note: we recommend limiting your float to 20 minutes as the high salinity could cause dehydration)
After experiencing a blissful Dead Sea float at the resortโs private beach, continue wallowing in serenity at the freshwater pool and terrace, a central attraction and the perfect spot to order a libation or two.
Feeling peckish? Grab a table at the Oak Tree Kitchen, where brightly-colored stained-glass transoms create a whimsical vibe that compliments the classic layout and design.
Designed with rest and relaxation at top of mind, each plush room features neutral tones, ample amenities, a balcony with a view, and sliding shutters for when a cat nap is in order.
Memories Aicha Luxury Camp, Wadi Rum
Nestled amidst the mesmerizing landscape of Wadi Rum is one of the most unique stays of any of our tours – Memories Aicha Luxury Camp. Here, weโll sleep beneath a canopy of stars, surrounded by the silent grandeur of towering sandstone cliffs on a property that fuses modern elegance with an authentic Bedouin experience. Of all the Jordan gay-welcoming hotels we’ll slumber at, we love this one the most!
The massive dining tent is where travellers congregate to weave tales of Arabian nights while sampling traditional fare. Sip aromatic Bedouin tea while admiring the fiery hues of a desert sunset.
Each Junior Tent, complete with an ensuite, is wall-to-wall plush and perfect for keeping the heat in once the evening cools down.
As night falls, an endless starry sky becomes the main attraction. We recommend upgrading to the Panoramic Tent, which allows stargazing from the comfort of your bed. To opt-in for this upgrade, shoot us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it for you! (subject to availability)
Petra Marriott Hotel, Petra [2024 Departures]
Surrounded by panoramic views of dramatic red-rock canyons, this deluxe 5-star property offers a harmonious blend of heritage and sophistication. Look closely and youโll notice the hotelโs regal architecture mirrors the majesty of the Rose City.
Stop in for a bite at the Dushara Restaurant, which takes full advantage of the pristine views by utilizing floor-to-ceiling windows. Though the pool is on the smaller side, its views are equally stunning.
Guest rooms are comfortably equipped with all the amenities youโll need after a day of exploring Jordanโs rugged beauty. This haven promises not just a stay, but an enchanting desert sojourn fit for a king (or queen).
Petra Moon Luxury, Petra [2025 Departures]
This 5-star palace beckons travellers to relax and unwind after a full day of exploration. Facing the iconic Petra mountains, the rooftop pool and terrace is the perfect spot to make a splash and grab some rays.
The cavernous lobby foreshadows the spaciousness of the guest rooms; this stay certainly doesnโt skimp on the square footage!
This exquisite hotel seamlessly blends contemporary luxury with echoes of a bygone era, offering travellers an unparalleled gateway to Jordanโs most treasured gem.
From a beachfront bastion on the Dead Sea to the Mars-like landscape of Wadi Rum and the ancient allure of Petra…
…these Jordan gay-welcoming hotels offer not just a place to rest, but a portal to a land where history, luxury, and adventure converge, ensuring memories that linger long after check out.ย
