Meet Gabor, Your Out Adventures Host!
All Out Adventures tours are led by an experienced local guide. Many tours are also led by an official Out Adventures Host, a core team member, who handles the details and ensures a top-tier experience for each and every guest. We sat down with Host Gabor Laszlo to get to know more about him, why he loves small group tours, and his favorite part about hosting our tours! Hit play on the video or read the transcript below.

Good afternoon! Can you introduce yourself for the viewers?
My name is Gabor. I’m an Out Adventures host.
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m from Hungary originally. I live in Budapest. I spent all my life in tourism; I work as a guide and I love that job. All this travelling, hotels, restaurants, you know… we live in that. That’s our life.

What do you think makes small group tours unique?
When I travel with the smaller groups of Out Adventures, it’s like travelling with friends. Travelling with family. After a few days, or basically after a day, you know the group. You build up a relationship to the group members. Everybody is so patient and somehow open, and they enjoy this kind of diversity within the group.
What is your favorite aspect of hosting Out Adventures tours?
You know, as a host, the most interesting part is to see all these people getting together and enjoying the trip and enjoying each others’ company. Most of the time, it’s really nice how easily they get to know each other and they start to like each other. What Out Adventures groups give me that’s extra is to be with people who understand me, and I understand them. I can also be part of the experience.
