Good afternoon! Can you introduce yourself for the viewers?

My name is Alfredo, but everyone calls me Alf, and Iโ€™m an Out Adventures host.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Iโ€™m from Mexico, and Iโ€™ve been travelling since I was 15, and one of my favorite places to go is Patagonia. Itโ€™s a magical place and an incredible landscape, and sometimes you feel like itโ€™s unreal. It has a lot of wildlife and hiking there is just amazing.

What do you think is one of the best reasons to travel with a group?

The good thing about travelling with Out Adventures is, because itโ€™s a small group, normally we go everywhere together. So it doesnโ€™t matter if itโ€™s Buenos Aires or Santiago de Chile, itโ€™s a way to be safe.

Other than Patagonia which you mentioned earlier, what are your favorite places to visit?

When Iโ€™m in Chile, I love to go to the Atacama Desert. Itโ€™s like visiting another planet. The colors, the sunsets, and the people makes it very, very special.

When I visit Santiago, I like to take the travellers around Lastarria neighborhood. Itโ€™s full of restaurants, coffee shops. Itโ€™s a very lively area. And they really enjoy trying traditional Chilean food. And the wine of course! Itโ€™s a very nice place.

Do you have any special memories from Out Adventures tours that youโ€™d like to share?

I remember this time in Galapagos, and we were supposed to go to a different island but it was closed because of national park regulations, and the Natural Paradise decided to take us to a different bay, and we were like Okโ€ฆ and he told us it’s worth it because itโ€™s full of turtles. And we were like Okโ€ฆ I mean, full of turtles? Could be 5, 10, we donโ€™t know. But then when we were approaching this place, from the dinghy, I counted easily 50 turtles swimming around. And we got to snorkel with them, and it was like a surreal experience, so that was special.
