Board a lavish vessel for our most extreme cruises in Antarctica and around Iceland.
We’re circumnavigating Iceland, then returning to Antarctica, both aboard a stylish expedition ship – The Ultramarine! Here’s a preview of the posh boat that will get us through the most rugged cruises we’ve ever offered.

We’ve held 22 cabins for up to 44 sailors on these gay-friendly voyages (the ship holds up to 199 guests in total). As the newest ship in Quark Expeditions’ fleet, it offers breathtaking public spaces and more outdoor wildlife viewing opportunities than any other expedition ships its size. It also serves up best-in-class operational range and sustainability features that exceed industry standards.
Onboard Helicopters Take Sightseeing To New Heights
(Antarctica only)

Onboard helicopters! This is definitely our favourite feature of the boat. Not one, but two, twin-engine helicopters will open up otherwise inaccessible bays and mountaintop glaciers for our daily adventures. Short “flightseeing” trips of 10-15 minutes are included in the Antarctica voyage, and helicopter landing excursions are also available as an optional add-on (weather permitting, not available on the Iceland departure).

4 Levels Of Accommodation To Choose From
We’ve held cabins in 4 categories – all impressive – for guests of Out Adventures. All cabins are spacious for their category and include either one double bed or two single beds, as well as private bathrooms with showers and heated floors.
Solo Panorama
Located on Deck 6 and measuring approximately 132 sq. ft. / 12 sq. m, this cabin has a single bed and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Explorer Suites
Located on Deck 3 and measuring approximately 285 sq. ft. / 26.5 sq. m, an impressive picture window allows you to take in the views.

Balcony Suites
Located on Decks 4 & 6, and about 226 sq. ft. / 21 sq. m in size, this suite includes a 52 sq. ft. / 4.8 sq. m balcony, giving you a private place to commune with the vast vistas.

Penthouse Suite
The only suite category on deck 7, this suite is approximately 369 sq. ft. / 34 sq. m in size, with an impressive 67 sq. ft. / 6.2 sq. m balcony. These suites offer the best of everything—views, spacious interiors, full bathrooms and generous balcony sizes—as well as easy access to the wellness centre.
